Pjs
I finished the armour basecoat, and then threw the shade all over it. I need to let it dry, so had no chance to highlight, so instead I focussed on the shark's Pjs. I did two thin coats of wraithbone, but it has not been enough. The reason for this, is so I can have a coat of light paint to cover with one of my leather contrast paints. Although I have some concerns about contrast over such a large flat area. Maybe this is a bad idea. I will ponder.

Hm. I do see your point. I've used Contrast extensively on Team Yankee tanks, and the results have been quite variable. The best ones of all were the T-64BVs, because they had a ton of ERA bricks and storage and just lots of stuff to break up the surfaces. The worst were my BMD airborne tracked APCs, which were quite the opposite. I think my best advice is to think it, don't have toooo much on the brush, and do a lot of brushing to move it to the edges. If you don't wait very long, you can also blot your brush and then come back to soak up excess, but if you only do that after painting all of the PJs, it will leave rings of dried paint and be worse than if you hadn't tried at all.
