King of Molasses

Well, quick update.  Did some colouring in, just so there were no white bits.  Not going to document the colours, because they don't really matter.  So just highlighting left to do, which is of course a lot of work.

I think tomorrow I should probably focus on getting some more minis ready for painting.

  1. Wait a minute... are the reins stapled into the mount's head?

So, this isn't a really good idea... but maybe it has some merit... What if you didnt bother highlighting? For now. It's achieved basic tabletop quality with good colour everywhere, so what if you now moved on to the next batch of minis? And continue like that until you have everything tabletop quality. And THEN go back and highlight, knowing you have 1,910 points that can go on the table even if you had no more time.

  2. There is a good deal of merit in this suggestion, and I will take it under consideration. My only fear is that I will never go back to finish them.

  3. I wondered about that as I suggested it. I did that for some of my Fire Warriors, 20-odd years ago. Skipped the graphic pen on the armour panels for a whole squad of them in order to be done for a tournament the next day. And 23 years later, that squad is still exactly the same. But... I didnt lose points on them. (Although I did lose points on having two different colour's schemes within my army, and without a reason better than, "I changed my mind halfway.")
