Reavers - The Final Reckoning

Well, this is it, the unit is as done as I am going to make them.  I would even say a smidge above my usual tabletop standard.  Really happy with how they turned out.  Final highlights were just the corresponding colour of contrast/speed paint, mixed with Army Painter Matt White.  For the bases, what was likely an unnecessary step of Dollar store Burnt Umber, drybrushed with Warm Beige, followed by an undiluted coat of Leviadon Blue, finished with a drybrush of Citadel Wraithbone.

The final five:

  3. So by my count, you've painted 11 minis, and you have 22 more to go; you're 33% complete, with four months to go! You're goin' up, up, up, it's your moment! (Yes, I acknowledge that the remaining 22 include 12 minis that are more labour-intensive than the 11 you've already done, and you plan to buy at least one more Hero and MAYBE another unit to fill out your points... but one of those Heroes is already partly done, too. So... you're gonna be, gonna be Golden.)

  4. So I have also added another mini to my Koljacon list. It is the last mini to do, and it is my Mirebrute that was going to annihilate one of your dudes with last year, but then you killed him before he got to attack. As a final misdirection, I post the finished mini to the main blog just before the convention, selling our foes on my bringing Kruleboyz. Will this lead to certain victory? How could it not. What would be really funny, is if I was thinking only you knew about this blog, but it is actually being recommended to everyone since I am a contributor to the other blog ;)

    1. Your plan is cunnin', but brutal. Which they wont realize. Also, they dont check the main blog much; it's pretty safe.

  5. Also, with the Terrain piece and Manifestations, I think the count is a bit higher. Although those will probably get mostly drybrushed.
