Thralls Batch 1

Simple zenithal prime with Black Vallejo primer, initial layer of Army Painter Matt White, followed by a second spray of Pro Acryl Bold Titanium White.

My plan is to use the same colour scheme as the Reavers, so won't bother listing the paints used.

  1. So... the black primer went on first, and sprayed for even coverage everywhere, yes? Then you painted on the first coat of white with a brush? And then the final white spray... was that the zenithal one? Is that straight down, or a slight angle? No, wait, you said the black was zenithal...? Im confused - why would the black be zenithal?

  2. As I re-read my post, I admit that it makes little sense. Everything was done with the airbrush. Black primer all over, matte white from straight on, but fairly thin, so more of a grey, then the titanium white from maybe 60 degrees to start, then up to 90 degrees at the end.
